Transferring/Selling a Gold Certificate Token (GCT)
GCTs are designed to be freely transferable between Bitcoin wallets using standard Bitcoin transactions. No additional inscriptions or metadata changes are required.
Transfer Principles
Transferring a GCT simply involves sending the inscription to another address. Selling a GCT on a marketplace also constitutes as a transfer to the buyer.
The GCT remains valid as long as it is not burned and descends from a valid Vendor Root.
Transfer Verification
Ownership of a GCT is determined by the current UTXO holding the inscription.
Marketplaces or vendors verifying redemption requests should confirm that the requester controls the address holding the GCT before burn.
